Getting here: From Pakse: Champasak town is easily accessible by local transport from the main bus station in Pakse (8km from the centre of town). Take any of the many Songthaews heading south to or through Champasak Town. The 45 km journey takes around an hour and includes a ferry barge crossing over the Mekong River into the town. On arrival in Champasak, request to be dropped off on the main street and Thavisab Hotel is one of the first properties on your right hand side.

From the ferry landing in Champasak Town: turn left onto the main street and head 1.5km towards the centre of town, south towards Wat Phou Temple. Thavisab Hotel is on your right hand side (facing the river) and before the roundabout and Tourist Information Centre.
